WHAT!?!? Already 2 Years Old!! {Oahu Hawaii Newborn Infant Baby Child Photographer}

Sweet J has been coming for her milestone sessions since she was 6 months old! I can't believe how much she has grown and how fast time has gone by! It seems just like yesterday I was doing her first session :) This is one of my favorite parts of what I do! I am able to capture their growth over the few years that I am at each location we are relocated to :) Sometimes I am really lucky and have a few clients move to the same location I go to!!

Sweet Baby Boys, Models for my recent Workshop {Oahu Hawaii Newborn Infant Baby Norma Mitchell Photography}

I am excited to share these portraits of the three precious baby boys who modeled for use during my recent newborn workshop. I couldn't have asked for better models! Can you believe I had all boys :) They were so sweet and did a beautiful job! I was able to go through all the poses as planned. I'm so thankful we had such cooperative models :) I hope they are being good little boys for their mommies :)

Eeeeekkkk!!! I just got my GORGEOUS new album in! Another confirmation on why I do what I do! I want every single client to have one of these albums!

 I recently made the change from offering digital packages to offering an A La Carte menu. Why??? This is why...I want your photos to be plastered on your walls and in albums to be passed down to future generations. The last thing I want to do is hand my daughter a dvd of her newborn photos. 

Yes, it is a huge change, but after seeing my new line of products, you will fall in love, just like I did :)

Newborn Workshop {Oahu Hawaii Newborn Infant Baby Norma Mitchell Photography}

Thank you to my wonderful workshop attendees, speakers, assistants and sponsors for making my first newborn workshop a huge success! I couldn't have done it without you all! 

Every genre of photography is so unique...when it comes to newborn photography, you enter into this whole new world. There is just so much involved, that you almost need to have a hands on learning experience to understand how to do a newborn session. So that is when I decided to hold a workshop. I wanted to provide an opportunity to really get to know what all a newborn session involves. 

Starting with a handy dandy bag! If you know me, I like personalized things :) So it only made sense to make personalized bags. I asked each of my attendees what their favorite color was and applied that to a camera design with their name :) In the bag were lots of goodies from our sponsors as well as things I had made for each of the ladies :)

The bags included several discounts from our sponsors, a lace wrap, neck tie, glasses, rice posing bags, layers and more!

This was a two day workshop! The first day I covered just about everything about how I run my business :) I let it all out! Then I showed the ladies how I edit :)

Behind the scenes: Brenda Van of www.BrendaVanPhotos.com came and shared her expertise on lifestyle shooting. She showed the ladies how to see the light. Her work is amazing and she is such a beautiful photographer, inside and out :)

Behind the scenes: Switching speakers, from Brenda V. to DeVon R. with www.desiredimagesandphoto.com/. DeVon R. came and shared his knowledge on studio lighting. Not every photographer is going to have a workable natural light source. So I wanted to give my attendees an opportunity to learn about studio lighting. Who better to ask, than DeVon R!

It's moments like this that always tug at my heartstrings. Our sweet little babies are only small like this for a very short time. Next thing you know they are running all over the place, getting into things and jumping off beds! I wish they could stay this small for a wee bit longer...This is just one more reason why I love to capture these moments...it's absolultely beautiful and always takes my breath away. Especially when I go through their video clips. Talk about a heartmelter! Especially this sweet little guy! Congratulations to the V Family on your beautiful baby boy!

The reason why I love doing maternity sessions is because I can show the Mommy to be just how beautiful and glowing she is. This is truly a wonderful time in a woman's life. We have this miracle of life growing inside us. From the moment we find out we are pregnant, something magical happens. I am so blessed to be able to capture the most beautiful mommies on this gorgeous island.

This was such a fun session to do! It's not everday you get to work with three grown boys :) I just love the beautiful setting we were able to capture that day. Hawaii is such a stunning place to live. I recommend anyone and everyone to get photos done while you are here. Whether it is for vacation or if you are living here. I am so blessed to be able to live in paradise and capture moments like these for families.
